The real estate market in 2022 was buzzing. Some believe it was even booming!

The year is ending, and it’s time to take a look back at the year that was in real estate.

As we look ahead to 2023, I want to share some highlights from this year.

Here are some of the things I’m most excited about:

-The continued rise of sellers.

-The continued growth of potential buyers.

-The continued diversification of our industry.

-The continued humanitarian acts to the community.

I hope this note finds you well and enjoying the holiday season with family and friends (especially since we are now post-pandemic). We are so fortunate to survive and live in this wonderful world and I wish you all much happiness and continued health.

The typical end-of-year slowdown is definitely upon us, and, as I have been reporting to you in the past couple of months, the real estate market, in general, has been hopping from the unparalleled fast pace of 2021 but still continues moving forward. Sellers and buyers were there, just needed a little push-and-pull strategy for a successful deal.

Aside from being a real estate agent, being a community volunteer, which I am very passionate about teaches me greater things: time essence, discovering opportunities, meeting people around the globe, trying new things, and a lot more. These things for being a volunteer helped me a lot being a real estate agent. One of that is being able to network and gain potential sellers and buyers.

With my last newsletter and blog post of the year, I am sure to have said all that needs to be said regarding the Norfolk real estate market.

With the completion of our 2022 updates, I can now take a breather and enjoy being done with it. I have been working hard to bring you the latest news about how the real estate market is performing around the area, and I hope that you’ve found it useful.

In the meantime, even though the holidays are on our minds, if you are thinking of selling, now is the time to be preparing your home for sale to get a jump on the competition next year. We have less competition during winter. Spring will start the competition between sellers. The Bank of Canada might have increased the interest rates, but buying now could be very advantageous – and without as much competition too. We know exactly what it takes to set your home apart both in physical presence and in marketing – and how to find you the perfect home at terms that are right for you.

Now that we’re out of the thick of it, let’s look ahead to what lies ahead in 2023. We’ll be updating my blog on a monthly basis with new information about how things are going as well as insights from experts on what they’re predicting for next year. So keep your eyes peeled for updates.

Through the holidays, I will still be able to assist you, I am just a call, text, or email away so please contact me any time.
